What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Working on the bare basics while also applying them to the real world to make them entertaining. Introducing the double bass pedal (if metal is their path of choice). Showing basic grooves of different genres and getting a good feel for each. I may assign a few books and assignments based on whether or not the student can read music.
Formal Education:
Centreville High School (Standard Diploma), University of the Arts (2 years)
Private Education:
6 years of drum set private instruction, 5-6 for classical instruction
Performing Experience:
I have performed at bars and venues in both the Philadelphia and DC area
Experience Teaching:
I have taught 2 students for about a year each. I have also helped teach a high school class for percussion ensemble
