Cullen C.

Hi, my name is Cullen and I am a guitarist from Hammond, Louisiana. I have been playing guitar for twelve years. My musical influences include The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Kings of Leon and I also enjoy Elliott Smith. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I cater to my students and teach them what they want to learn rather than focusing on scales and repetitive exercises. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to play cowboy chords, bar chords, finger picking and even some Jimmy Page-like solos. I like to tell my students that practice makes perfect and nobody is perfect the first time they try something new. My favorite thing about teaching is sharing what I've learned with other minds and the look of elated joy when a student figures out that tough riff or solo they've been working on. My students love that I take things one step at a time and slow things down as to not overwhelm them with something they've never tried before.
