Sherri M.

Sherri began playing piano at age 10. She sang in choirs throughout public school and became a soloist in high school. She has studied privately in and off for fifty years and began teaching piano and voice in her own studio in 1984. Sherri performed professionally with the regional theatre circuit as well as dinner theatre in L.A. She has also performed in community and college theatre productions for forty years. In addition, Sherri sings in choirs and chorales and as a soloist for weddings, funerals, and special events. Sherri is also an actress, and just received her B.A. in Theatre from University of Illinois at Springfield. She minored in music and has the privilege of winnnig the solo competition in 2018 and 2019. Sherri enjoys singing opera, musical theatre, all Western art music, as well as folk songs, but is interested in all genres.
