What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Basic concepts: Form and structure, Basic dynamics, Musical development exercises in rhythm, melody, and harmony, Genre-specific tips/studies based on individuals interests, Individual-specific song analysis project (you pick the song), Write a 5 minute song for a minimum of 2 players.
What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons

Emphasis on the following concepts: Timbre theory, Advanced dynamics, Genre-specific studies, Finalization of compositions. Continuation from intermediate songwriting lessons: Re-make or melodically dictate a song of your choice, Write an 8 minute song for a minimum of 2 players.
What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce

Basics of Mixing: EQ, Compression, Reverb, Balancing, Panning, Stereo Shape. Basics of Mastering: Basic concept/approach, Limiting, Saturation, Genre-specific concepts, Final product.
What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Very basics of music theory(1st lesson): Time and key signatures, Note lengths, Note values(treble&bass clefs), Sheet music familiarization. Music theory standards(take beginner lessons until proficient in these concepts): Rhythm in common time signatures, Basics of harmony/chords, Four part voicing (SATB), Basics of song analysis, Melody, Non-chord tones/Passing tones.

Currently a Music Business student at UCCS (2 years completed)
Private Education:
Private piano lessons for 1 year. Private composition lessons for 3 years.
