Active drummer for 40 years, performing and recording extensively on the East and West coasts. Award winning songwriter with BMI credentials and Screen Actors Guild member. Understand drum charts (sight read the easier ones) with strong ability to fill in at a moments notice. Performed extensively with Nick Hoffman (Paul Revere and the Raiders) and Gary Ray (7 Top Country Hits - Grammy). Played with Blues great Pop Fergusen and currently playing with independent recording artist Ned Lucas. Currently playing within multiple situations; Lake Norman Big Band drummer / percussionist, Carolina Express and Good Time country bands, Chris Crouse rock band and fill ins while playing Sunday mornings for a local church. Currently studying with Rick Dior in Charlotte.

I have taught on and off for 20 years. Happy to work with students new to drums. I and many other experts beleive students under 8 years old should be taking piano lessons until they develop the physical skills needed to play drums. This path allows the student to learn; reading, timing and song structure.
