Rowan is a pianist from Dallas, Texas who is influenced by jazz, classical, and contemporary music styles. Rowan is a recent graduate of University of Miami’s Frost School of Music and will attend New England Conservatory to pursue his masters of music. As a teacher, Rowan aims to cater to the student’s interests and needs, prioritizing the importance of ones love and enjoyment for music, regardless of age or experience. Rowan teaches any style of music and is versatile in teaching theory and improvisation to any instrument. Rowan was a finalist in the 2019 American Jazz Pianist Competition, has performed in a variety of festivals, and has worked with musicians such as Maria Schneider, Darmon Meader, and Ingrid Jensen.
