Ernesto began playing guitar at the age of 12. Over the years, he developed his skills further by learning how to write songs in many different styles of music. He gained performance experience in the El Paso area by playing with various musicians at such venues from backyards to Tricky Falls, to cafes playing with everything from punk rock bands to solo acts. Though Ernesto can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are acoustic rock which had great influence on his style of playing as it incorporates a raw approach to playing and writing. Ernesto loves music because his father was a working, full time musician and loves teaching music because it is his goal to give the gift of music to others, and believes in the many benefits music brings to enhance a person's life.
