Melody began singing at the age of 4. Over the years, she developed her skills further by joining her school choir. She gained performance experience in the vocal area by playing at such venues as The Sottille Theater and with the Charleston Children's Choir. Though Melody can teach many genres of music, her musical personal favorites are indie-rock and experimental which had great influence on her style of playing. Melody loves music because it's what she was raised on and loves teaching music because she loves sharing the magic with as many people as she can.
