Zach is a classically-trained violinist specializing in improvisation and experimental techniques. He frequently performs in a variety of bands within Los Angeles and is interested in bringing a "Rock" mentality to classical violin training. Zach has been studying violin since the age of three, and graduated from Pomona College with a BA in Music. Zach currently works at the Pasadena Youth Symphony Orchestra and frequently gigs around Los Angeles performing solo, in orchestras, and in bands.

What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students can expect a mix of traditional classical training and modern techniques. I am interested in pushing my students to study a wide variety of genres and follow their own intuition in what they'd like to learn on their instrument. I put a large emphasis on improvisation and "jamming," something which is more often seen in guitar lessons.
