Hi, my name is Dawn, and I am a violinist from Lakeland. I have been a student of music for 29 years. I am a trained concert violinist, having been the concert mistress of three small orchestras, as well as performing with my own quartet and numerous solo performances. My musical influences include classical, but I also enjoy alternative rock, metal, and industrial music genres. My teaching style can best be described as intuitive and adaptive based on the students skills, goals, and ambitions. I believe anyone can learn music as it is an inherent part of everyone. In my lessons, you can expect to learn basic and advanced techniques. My favorite thing about teaching is sharing knowledge and music with my students and watching them grow as a performer into their own unique style. My students love that I am extremely personable and knowledgeable. I primarily teach violin, but I can also teach vocals.
