Tanner began playing guitar and banjo at the age of 16. Over the years, he developed his skills further by dedication alongside school and performing at venues around Orlando. He gained performance experience in the Orlando/Winter Garden area by playing at such venues as Lil Indies, Will's Pub, and Pilars, with acts such as Florida Man, Jade Frances, and Dougie Flesh and the Slashers. Though Tanner can teach many genres of music, his musical personal favorites are folk, country, and bluegrass which had great influence on his style of playing. Tanner loves music because it is an art-form that we can always improve upon while having lots of fun in the process, and loves teaching music because sharing knowledge and techniques are very beneficial to a student as well as a teacher.
