Electric and upright bassist active in the DFW Metroplex for the last 5 years. I am fluent in almost any style of music, and have experience in everything from rock and country, to free jazz, avant garde music, and film scoring. Additionally, I am proficient on piano, have a solid foundation in music theory, and a developed understanding of the nuances of playing in different types of ensembles. Though most of my experience has been as a freelance bassist, I have experience teaching children and adults and I am excited to continue to develop my skills as well as develop the skills of others in beginning to teach more frequently

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Fun an engaging lessons in all styles of music as well as correlating music theory principles from beginner to advanced levels. Emphasis is placed on developing the student into becoming the type of musician they want to be. This is done by pairing lesson concepts with music the student is interested in and learning such music in order to ingrain the concepts. Most importantly, playing music should be fun and practice should be something the student looks forward to doing.
