About Me

Hi my name is Mel and I have 11 years experience playing rhythm on acoustic and electric guitar and perfecting my vocals. My teaching style is very down to earth, positive, encouraging and informative. Learning will be fun and hands on. My students will learn chord structures, strumming methods, the notes on the fret board, picking techniques and music theory. I will also encourage my students to present samples of songs that they would like to learn during our lessons and we can focus on one song at a time and the pace of instruction will depend on each individual student. Songwriting can also be discussed during our lessons.Instruction can be provided in my home or your home.
