I began playing drums at age 10, studied for the next 15 years including a percussion degree from Essex Community College. I have been a performer for 24 years as a drummer, vocalist, keyboard/piano, symphonic percussionist. Including rock, jazz, country, blues, show music, orchestral. Taught for Froehlich Musice 1973-76 Baltimore, MD. drums, mallet percussion, piano. Later taught at Links Music Hanover, PA and Menchey Music Hanover and York, PA. Drumset, latin percussion and mallet percussion, 1982-89. Former teachers; Chuck Memphis-Peabody Conservatory, Baltimore, MD. Dale Rauschenberg-Essex Community College & Towson State College. Dave Hershey-York College of PA. mallet and percussion studies. Currently percussionist with the Susquehanna Symphony Orchestra and Midnight Samba jazz quartet. Available to teach in my studio or at the students home.
