Hi my name is Joshua and I am a graduate of Temple University. I started singing and taking lessons in middle school and I haven't stopped since. I've performed with Royal Caribbean and Dutch Apple. My specialty is musical theater and combining the voice with acting. The goal of my teaching is that students learn a multitude of songs that they can use in an audition setting. Such as golden age musical theater to modern pop and contemporary musical theater. This will also include proper marking of audition cuts and audition etiquette. I originally got into music from rock then it became theater so if you have some rock material I would be more then happy to look over it. What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
This is a vocal coaching session where you will learn to combine your voice with your body. You will learn audition etiquette and how to mark your music correctly. Different ways to warm up and the basic anatomy of the vocal cords. Basic music theory and acting techniques for your songs. The goal in the end is to have a book full of different songs memorized with 16-32 bar cuts for each one.
