Kelly began playing piano at the age of four. Over the years, she developed her skills further by taking private lessons, and eventually going college and grad school for music. She gained performance experience in the jazz area by playing at such venues as Zinc Bar and Smoke Jazz Club in NYC and with acts such as the Bjorkestra, and her own band. Though Kelly can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are jazz and classical which had great influence on her style of playing.
