Review About Me
I have been teaching young people and adults how to play music for over 20 years. I am a professional musician who regularly performs in bands that play R&B, jazz, rock, reggae, blues, Latin, rock and other styles. I also have a Masters degree in music composition and theory from The University of Memphis. I love teaching music to others and approach my job with a lot of enthusiasm and positive energy that influences my students to feel the same way about their own playing.

Performing Experience:
I have thirty years experience in R&B, funk, blues, jazz, rock, reggae and electronic music.
Experience Teaching:
I have twenty years of experience at various schools in the San Francisco and Memphis area, as well as an equal number of years as a private instructor. My primary instrument is the piano or electric keyboard, but I can also teach beginners on guitar, saxophone and flute. I also teach music theory, how to improvise, and how to turn chord charts into music,
