Dan has always loved music from an early age. He began playing Violin at the age of 5 and continued his education by composing musicals and helping new instrumentalists develop their love of music. His musical influences include Andrew Bird, Sufjan Stevens, Sudan Archives, Noname, Kadjha Bonet, and St. Cinder. Dan's favorite thing about music is how intrinsically we all connect with it, and his favorite thing about teaching music is watching students recognize their capacity to create.
