He began playing musical instruments at the age of 10 and continued his education by attending to Duke Ellington school for the performing arts .His musical influences include Duke Ellington, John Coltrane, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Chopin, Stevie Wonder just to name a few.

Frankie's favorite thing about music is Song writing an d his favorite thing about teaching music is his ability to help students recognize their talents.. One of his favorite teaching experiences was When he was able to get 10 students excepted into the Duke Ellington school for the performing arts and one school year.
