I'm very hand on with drum lessons. Not a lot of stuff is written out unless it just has to be. The drums are a very visual instrument at first, and all about coordination and repetition. I also like in drum lessons to constantly have a guitar on, and just be playing. That's how you get better.

LOVE teaching bass. How the bass works with any particular piece of music can be more relative than playing guitar in most instances. I like to touch on how the bass can almost change a particular piece of music around while still being used in it's very purpose. To add bottom end and melody.

Lots of chords and tab if you are just starting out. If intermediate, there will be less tab but more focus on precision and recording. It's one thing to play it, it's another thing to play it right.
