About Me

Hi, my name is Kelsey! I am a 24 year old guitar player who began playing guitar at the age of 13. Over the years, I've developed my skills further by studying music in high school and then earning a degree in Entertainment Industry Studies at Delta State University in 2019.

I have gained performance experience over the past 11 years by playing at several venues and talent contests. I've gotten the honor to perform at the Grammy Museum in Los Angles and have had the privilege to open up for acts such as The Band Perry.

Though I can teach several different genres of music, my musical personal favorites are Elton John, The Cranberries, and Kacey Musgraves. These artist have had great influence on my style of playing. I've always loved music and I know I'll loves teaching it. I am so excited to help you expand and enhance your playing.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate

My students will learn the basics of guitar such as chords, strumming patterns, fingerstyle, powerchords, and hand coordination. All of this will lead to the ultimate goal-playing a song. I am a singer-songwriter so I'm no John Mayer, but I do know the basics of guitar and can get any beginner to the place they need to be to further pursue their dream of becoming an advanced guitar player.
