Catherine began piano at 7 years of age. After graduating fromN.E. Conservatory of Music in 1986, Catherine set out to explore Europe, and lived in Paris, France and Basel, Switzerland, teaching and performing "piano bar" for many years. She loves teaching and uses her own personal approach to each student, pertaining to their own level and aspirations. She also uses such piano tools as Hanon, Brimhall, Suzuki, and incorporates sight-reading and chord charts into each lesson. She also speaks fluent French and German.
