Hello! My name is Jackson and I've been teaching guitar, music theory, drums, and vocal lessons to students from a variety of different backgrounds for the past six years. I am currently studying education and music here at Stevenson University in Owings Mills, Maryland and I have been involved in countless numbers of instrumental and vocal ensembles both in and out of the University. Some of these ensembles include marching percussion, a cappella ensembles, and guitar ensembles. I love teaching music! I think it's one of the most important subjects to know about because it affects us everyday! My teaching style has been described as patient and relaxed, with an emphasis on allowing the students to make the discoveries themselves with guided help. I look forward to meeting new people and teaching them about music whenever I get the opportunity! My musical influences range from anywhere between contemporary vocal works to classical music, musical theatre, folk, and blues.

What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
When starting out with lessons I like to allow the student(s) to set the pace they think they’d be comfortable with. I am open to questions and willing to spend as much time as is needed to helping the student(s) progress through the lesson with a clear understanding and with ideas of what they can do to take it further.
