Hi, my name is Sebastian, and I am a Multi-Instrumentalist from Colombia. I have been a student of music for as long as I was able to stand and take dance lessons. My musical influences include synth pop/rock, Rock, Alternative, Ambient and I also enjoy hip hop a lot. If my teaching style can best be described in one word, it would be ‘Efficiency’.

My teaching philosophy is all about knowing where ones place in the universe is, and then learning how to grow your style in your own unique elegance. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to USE and CONNECT chords than just learning their notes & names. I like to tell my students that practice makes you better than you were yesterday. And that philosophy moves with everything you do in life. My favorite thing about teaching is not only being a teacher but a mentor. Music is just a tool to express yourself.

My favorite performance was in 2008 performing for my church with Marcos Witt. My students love that I am definitely not boring and very patient. As teachers, we all struggled one way or another to get some kind of chord or timing right sometime in our career. So I understand frustration and stress. I like to remind my students that they have their whole lifes ahead of them. I primarily teach Songwriting, but I can also teach keyboard. My approach as a teacher is to become an inspiration to keep the students engaged.
