Hi, my name is David and I am a musician from Baltimore but I live in Harford County now. I have been a student of music for approximately 15 years. My musical influences include gospel and I also enjoy jazz. My teaching style can best be described as adaptable. In my lessons, you can expect to learn as much as you want to learn. I like to tell my students to fall in love with practice and playing will come easy.

My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the students understand what they’re learning and wanting to continue to learn. My favorite performance was playing my first live recording. My students love that I make every lesson personal to them. I primarily teach gospel music, but I can also teach pop and contemporary music. My approach as a teacher is to understand how the students process and learn things so I can effectively teach them the way they’ll understand.
