JEAN MARIE C. – Vocalist, Performer, and Vocal Coach Jean Marie began singing at just six years old, and by the age of 12 she was already performing in a band. Throughout her school years she took every opportunity to sing live, honing her craft and building a lifelong passion for music. Her professional career began as the lead singer of a Top 40 show band, where her singing partner at the time was none other than Chazz Palminteri—actor and writer of A Bronx Tale. Together with their five-piece band, they toured major hotels across the United States and traveled internationally, performing for U.S.O. shows in Europe and the Middle East. Striking out on her own as a solo artist, Jean Marie went on to create her celebrated one-woman cabaret show, performing with 16-piece orchestras in prestigious venues including Las Vegas, Atlantic City, the Catskill Mountains, major hotel casinos, and luxury cruise lines. She also shared the stage as an opening act for some of comedy’s biggest names, including Jerry Seinfeld. Over the years, Jean Marie has developed a versatile vocal style influenced by the powerhouse voices of Whitney Houston, Barbra Streisand, and Celine Dion—artists who continue to inspire her performances and her teaching. With more than 40 years of global stage experience, Jean Marie now devotes her passion to teaching. She offers lessons in voice, stage performance, and studio production, while also working as a recording engineer and producer. Her students range from beginners to seasoned professionals, and she takes pride in helping each one build confidence, expand their range, and master the art of performance. One of her proudest teaching moments came recently when her student, Kayleigh Clark, earned a four-chair turn on The Voice.
