Chelsea began singing the day she was born according to her parents. Over the years, she developed her skills further by studying music theory, ear training, and performance, eventually earning a Bachelor's of Music in Vocal Performance. She gained performance experience in vocal music by singing at such venues as the Lincoln Center, NYC, St. Paul's Cathedral, Dublin, Ireland, and on the Miss America stage for the 2018 competition as Miss Iowa, with experience in solo, choral, a Capella, liturgical, jazz, and concerto performances.
Though Chelsea can teach several genres of music, her personal favorites are classical and musical theater, which had great influence on her style of singing. Chelsea loves music because it defies time and space, speaking to souls despite language, age, and other barriers. She loves teaching music because it has defined her life, presenting opportunities she may never otherwise have experienced, and giving others those unique opportunities is her way of paying it forward. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, Chelsea can help you expand and enhance your singing.
