Hi! :) I'm Tasha and about as important to me as oxygen! After spending 14 years homeschooling my 5 kids, I decided to finish school, graduated from FSU (go Noles!), and went on to pursue my Master's degree. At this time, I'm still in grad school working on my M.B.A. in Music Business (SNHU/Berklee College of Music). In addition, I'm an Official Member of The Recording Academy (aka The GRAMMYs). (I wasn't kidding when I said music is my LIFE!) A few years ago, I decided to slowly start making my way into music, and I did this by taking private vocal lessons (classical training).

At the time, my then-teenagers and I also pursued acting and musical theatre. Once I graduated from college and it was time to focus on grad school, however, I decided to jump into the music business full-time, and that's what I do to this day. I started my professional music career as an artist manager and music booking agent. It wasn't long before I learned how to be very resourceful so I could expand my network of relevant industry contacts, some of whom manage or produce for high-profile/A-list clients.

Currently, I still do artist management and booking some, but primarily, I focus on A&R for producers. By this I mean I receive briefs (descriptions) from the major labels my A&R Consultant and I work with, then I choose from my roster of producers (most of whom have A-list credits, are also members of the GRAMMYs, and/or are GRAMMY-nominated producers themselves), A&R some of their music, and work with them to prepare for a pitch. Since my Consultant and I work WITH our major label contacts, we then forward our (solicited) submissions. From time to time, we also pitch artists to these labels, depending on what the label's artists are doing, planning, writing, etc. in the coming months or year.
