Parker has always loved music from an early age. He began playing guitar at the age of 13 and continued his education by doing some college training in music performance guitar. His musical influences include mostly the genres rock, country, metal, and pop. Parker's favorite thing about music is connecting with the listener and having people feel his music. His favorite thing about teaching music is seeing his students succeed however they define success. One of his favorite teaching experiences was teaching a young student named Jimi Hendrix.
