What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons
Beginner
Song structure and rhythm are my specialties. When I hear a song, I rarely first hear the lyrics--usually I hear the melody and rhythm. I can work with any lyricist or soloist and help develop an idea. I can work with a soloist as a living backing-track to help develop a sound. I have strong knowledge of chord and song structure. I can provide critique and advice for writers looking for a second opinion. Students can expect to write a song on the first session and begin writing their own songs.
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner
I know a wide variety of singable songs from the 50s onward and I can learn a new song quickly. Students can expect to sing along with a live instrument and maybe a full band. Students will learn physical exercises to train his/her own natural voice. Students will learn vocal techniques and improve confidence.
What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
I an help the absolute rawest beginners on the bass. Upwards from there, I can help with timing.
