I've been a professional musician since the age of 10. Music carried me from Ethel, La. to Nashville, Tn where I played among the best, eventually becoming Wanda Jackson and Chuck Mead's bass player. This also got me spots in the Grand Ole Opry and the opportunity to play all over the U.S., Canada, and Europe. I also played as a "gun for hire" with many Opry artists. Add that, studio experience having recorded in some of the most renown studios in the country, as well as fronting my own bands, and you have a good idea! I also have vast music knowledge as a historian. My lean is country, blues, old rock and roll, bluegrass, gospel, soul and some jazz.
