About Me

Chris is a drummer/poet/playwright based in Deerfield Beach, FL. He fell in love with drums at a young age and started at 16. His first professional show was at 18, and he hasn’t looked back. He’s currently the resident drummer for Measure for Measure Theatre, playing drums for musical theatre productions across the South Florida region. He’s well versed in rock, metal, punk, jazz, reggae, funk, along with experience playing Latin. He’s very passionate about teaching the instrument, and is inspired by Tommy Igoe’s teaching style. If you’re looking for a young, talented teacher who will move mountains to see his students grow, look no further than Chris.

What to expect in my Drum Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate

A positive and assuring teacher who will give you things to work on after lessons. It is integral to practice and to keep consistent with the drums; muscle memory makes up a good part of learning the instrument, so the more you put in at the beginning, the more you’ll get out of it later. I’m not concerned about running though material, the student and I can spend as much time on something as they’d like, there’s no competition in making music!
