About Me

Hi, my name is Michael and I am a concert pianist from Atlanta, Georgia. I have been a student of music for 13 years. My musical influences include Elvis Presley and I also enjoy classical music from the Romantic Era. My teaching style can best be described as fun yet informative. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I make sure that not only you know the music, but you tell the story of the music as well. In my lessons, you can expect to learn Classical Technique or even music arrangement. My favorite performance was hen I played at Carnegie Hall in New York. I primarily teach Pop Music and Music Arrangement, but I can also teach Classical Music. My approach as a teacher is to assess students' needs and teach them what they WANT to play. What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

Students can expect to learn anything that they WANT to learn. If they want to learn how to put their own spin on the latest pop song, I can help them with that. If they just want to learn a classical piece as well, I can do that too. I believe the piano should be fun, and not forced and I want my students to share the story of music. And who knows? You might just become the next Lang Lang :.
