Hi, my name is Isaac and I am a vocalist from Elkins, West Virginia. I am currently a third-year college student at West Liberty University in West Virginia studying music education and vocal performance but hope to teach in the Richmond area this summer. I am a 20-year-old tenor/countertenor, but I have no problem teaching all ages. I have been a student of music for two years. My musical influences include musical theater and I also enjoy opera. My teaching style can best be described as relaxed and fun. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I help encourage and develop students in their capabilities as a musician and singer. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to use the voice properly and healthfully. I like to tell my students to sing the music that they enjoy and experiment with new techniques and repertoire. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the student "get it" and feel as proud of themselves as I am of them. My students love that I am relaxed and love to joke around. I primarily teach tenors, counter-tenors, and sopranos, but I can also teach low voices like alto, baritone, and bass.
