Hi, my name is Marissa and I am a professional singer and actress. I was originally classically trained vocally for many years but then widened my training to include musical theatre, jazz, opera, and many other music genres. Collectively I have studied voice for 11 years and have been professionally working for three years starting before I graduated in 2018. I graduated from JMU with a BA in musical theatre but got to have training in both the theatre and voice/music schools! I have been teaching students, ranging in ages 6-18, private voice lessons for 3 years now and have taught larger classes of all sorts vocal, dance, theatre etc in multiple public and private schools In the DMV for 2 years. I’m excited to have the opportunity to teach more students both online and in-person!
