Hello, my name is Annette and I have been playing the flute for approximately nine years and oboe for approximately seven years. I get my experience of teaching by volunteering at my local middle schools band. I would work one on one with each of the students and learn about their strengths and weaknesses on the instrument. Something that I emphasize with every student is that musicians should play strong and wrong rather than play nothing at all. By teaching this philosophy, I'm hoping to raise the students confidence in their playing/ability to perform.
