Andrew S.

My name is Andrew and I was a public school teacher for 2 years and taught privately for 4 years. I have received my undergraduate degree from Newberry College. I received my bachelor of music in piano performance and music theory. While I was there, I wrote the marching band show for two years as well as served as the drum major. My senior year, I was awarded the outstanding senior music major award. I received my master of music in music education from Converse College. I was a graduate assistant in studio accompanying where I accompanied the Converse College Chorale and students of differing instrumentation. I was the principal trumpet and principal euphonium in the Converse symphony and Wind Ensemble. I was awarded the principal euphonium chair during the 2018 SC Intercollegiate Ho or Band. I was inducted into the Honorar music society, Pi Kappa Lambda.
