DeShawn began playing Violin at the age of eight years old. Over the years, he developed his skills further from getting classical training in school orchestras from 5th grade until graduating from college and living the life of a performing musician/Producer professionally and for fun. He gained performance experience in the Kentucky, Tennessee, and Denver, Colorado areas by playing at different venues; concert halls, bars and restaurants, and dedicated music venues. Though DeShawn can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are Blues, Jazz, Punk Rock, and all flavors of Hiphop which had great influence on his style of playing. DeShawn loves music because it helped him find a vast community to grow and connect with and loves teaching music because he wants to see that community grow as much as possible. And Believes music is something we all have a capability to pursue we just have to discover our personal talents.
