Jimy coaches/teaches VOCALISTS who sing Pop/R and B/Rock/Gospel/Jazz/Club-Dance-House/Blues. I am a professional singer/musician who gigs each weekend and can effectively work the crowd in these various styles. I can show YOU how to do the same~!!!!...................... Beginners-Intermediate-Advanced: I Put Your WHOLE Singing 'Package' Together (the right songs, increased repertoire, working a stage/audience, placing tunes in a set, singing with musicians/accompanist, personality-'attitude', blazing a vocal track in the studio....and more)....................................Are you currently with an instructor/coach and wondering why you really CAN'T saaaang????? You will noticeably sing much better during our first meeting.....................................(1)Learn to tell a 'lyrical story' with your voice and the song through breathing and phrasing (2)Singers who dance-learn to use movement as a means of support for your vocal tricks (3)Learn to go from chest voice to a strong head voice smoothly (4)Learn to use your 'ear' to inspire you to take chances with your voice that work in the song while staying in pitch (5)Learn to sing various styles effectively and how to utilize those styles for your own musical growth (6)Working singers, learn to pace yourself and sing 3-5 nights a week without losing your voice (7)Learn to approach and eventually acquire the "riffing" ability of the top Gospel/R and B/Soul/Pop artists and be able to add these vocalese techniques to your style...........................These are just some of the techniques a good vocal coach instills upon his/her students. I show singers how to actually teach themselves with excitement when not studying with me. What to expect in my Vocal Lessons

To see a major improvement after the FIRST lesson. This will inspire the student to proceed with excitement while monitoring their development.

The World Stage since 15 yrs of Age.

Performing Experience:

I have performed for over 35 years professionally onstage. As a singer/musician, I have backed-up and toured with such notaries as Aerosmith, Wilson Pickett, Slade, Betty Wright, J.Geils Band, Joe Tex, Foghat, New Birth, Al Green, Isaac Hayes and Lonnie Youngblood to name a few. I am a former Columbia/Def Jam recording artist under the management and direction of entertainment mogul Russell Simmons. Being a multi-instrumentalist, I have worked as a Columbia studio musician, playing on tracks for such Columbia artists as Oran Juice Jones, Alyson Williams and Chuck Stanley. Currently I sing Top 40/Club/Dance/Pop/Soul music with a corporate agency band, sing in the number 1 Al Green tribute show and sing/play guitar in the number 1 Jimi Hendrix tribute show.

Experience Teaching:

I have over 35 years of experience teaching vocals and instruments. I am currently instructing 3 vocal students full time, a 4-piece female Pop vocal group and 1 guitar student. With some of the vocal students I also do artist development and studio production for major label presentation.
