About Me

Natalie is a pianist, singer, and Bakersfield College Performing Arts Alumni class of 2020. During her time at Bakersfield College she studied both classical and jazz styles of music as well as completing two degrees in Music and Liberal Arts as well as over 18 public performances. In January 2020 she traveled with the Bakersfield College Jazz Combo to preform at the Jazz Education Network Conference in New Orleans, the birthplace of jazz music. In 2011 she was awarded the Alpha Delta Kappa Fine Arts Scholarship for playing clarinet. Natalieis an East Bakersfield High School Chamber singer alumni class of 2015 as well as previously singing in the Bakersfield College Choir and for a Barber Shop Quartet under Young Women in Harmony. In 2023, Natalie founded the Bakersfield School of Art and Music, voted the 2026 Best of Bakersfield for Student Enrichment.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate

My students should expect to fall in love with the beautiful music they create by playing the piano. In order to see improvement in your piano playing expect to practice at home for a minimum of 30 minutes a day, everyday. This requires you to have a piano or keyboard at home to practice. A full 88 Key piano or keyboard is recommended for my course. For beginners a smaller keyboard is acceptable.
