I began playing drums in the 7th grade, and picked up guitar in about 9th grade. I played in various rock bands throughout those years and after college began doing some touring. I've made many records with my various bands throughout the years and written songs. I typically contribute songs and lyrics as well as drums in any band i'm in. Currently I am the main songwriter in a band in which I am the main guitarist and vocalist. I began teaching back in 2013, took a few years off and began teaching again about 2 years ago. I am a self taught musician but have also taught myself to read and write traditional music notation and theory.
