About Me

My name is Tyler and I am 25 years old and have been playing drums since I was 2 years old. I Love playing Hip Hop, Metal, Reggae, Funk, Hard Rock, and Blues. I have been teaching for 6 years and I love working with all drummers as we are all so different. My teaching style is focused on developing style and devloping each limb so that the student can become polyrhythmic. I love teaching all levels of drummers and styles.

I have been a professional touring artist since 2003 and continue to tour with my band as well as work as a drum tech for recording artists. Whether you want to build your chops or start from scratch, I can help you develope your skills without any question. I prefer to teach rhythm, style, and proper technique before getting into that boring notation stuff! I am easy to work with, and want to have fun showing you how to play drums!

Formal Education:

I went to All About Music, 2005.

Performing Experience:

At age 15 I Toured with Sphere Of Influence (Metal).
At age 17 to 19 I Toured with 3rd Limb (Metal).
At age 21 to 23 I played with Emination (Metal).
From age 23 to present I played with GUAVA SMASH.

Experience Teaching:

I have been teaching drums since age 19. I began teaching in Orlando, Fl in 2005 and taught everyone from young kids to middle aged pro golfers!

I have taught exclusively at THE GUITAR CLINIC in Oneonta, NY.

I now teach independently as my schedule varies with touring life.
