Abria S. is proficient in and teaches Keyboard and Piano Lessons, Vocal Lessons .
Formal Education:
I am a licensed K-12 music educator. I studied at the University of MN and graduated in 2018. I have an emphasis in voice, however I am fluent at piano as well. I also played flute and saxophone in high school.
Performing Experience:
I have been performing on stage since I was 4 years old. I have been in over 15 productions with leading roles such as Ado Annie from “Oklahoma!”, Dorothy from “The Wizard of Oz” and Tracy Turnblad in “Hairspray”. I began singing classically at the age of 17 and participated in MN Summer Opera Camp. Collegiately, I was very active as a music major. I was in three vocal ensembles, as well as an opera studio.
Experience Teaching:
I am currently in my second year teaching genera music at a K-8 school in Phoenix. While in MN I also assisted with the Lake Superior Youth Chorus.
