Jackson began playing guitar at the age of 14. Over the years, he developed his skills further by learning different forms of music theory and writing songs. He gained performance experience in the Tampa Bay area by playing with acts such as Everest and opening for popular headliners in the pop punk and rock genre.. Though Jackson can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are rock and blues, which had great influence on his style of playing. Jackson loves music because of the way music lets him express himself and loves teaching music because of sharing how music can change someone’s life.
