10 Years
I’ve been performing music since I was 5 years old. I grew up in church where I was encouraged to sing every chance I got. After 8 years of musical training and schooling playing the trumpet, performing as a vocalist in a high school band, and singing at multiple events, I took the opportunity after high school to tour nationally with a band for 5 years as a lead vocalist. When I returned home, I continued to play throughout the Chicagoland area in bands and in a solo project that still continues today. I have taught music for 10 years now, mostly working with students & adults. Vocals are my strongest talent, however I have played bass guitar, rhythm electric guitar, and acoustic guitar each for over 10 years and teach those as well. I enjoy showing people how to not only begin playing their instrument, but to pursue improving that talent with passion and an inspiring love for music.
