I have been playing saxophone since high school and have been studying jazz at the California Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley, Ca. I am earning my bachelors of music in May and I am looking to relocate from California. I have taught several students and I have really enjoyed seeing students progress on my watch. I’ve traveled to students’ houses as well as taught students at my families’ house. I'vebeen told that I’m a patient teacher attribute that quality to the fact that I used to teach martial arts to kids with Asperger’s syndrome. I feel fulfilled when I see that my actions changes someone’s education.

What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Beginner
They can expect to learn fundamental technique through a set of books that my mentor wrote. The books are a series of books called “The Art of the Saxophone” by Dann Zinn. Students will be expected to invest in a metronome to focus on scales, arpeggios and other miscellaneous rudiments. I was taught through a very methodical approach so I would like to relay that to other students. Including technique, I will teach the blues and tunes that will engage the students. I would like students to go out and find music that they also want to learn as well.
