Hello, my name is John. I teach beginner to intermediate guitar. I teach private lessons and I believe one on one interaction is essential to learning how to play guitar. Students may bring their guitar, or if they prefer, I have a guitar to lend the student for the lesson. I am very patient and take students from ages 5 to 95! I do believe that theory should be learned first, but I can begin with songs that are familiar to the students so they don't get bored. I have been playing, writing, arranging and performing for 12 years and have been teaching for 5 years. I like all rock but I am also very able to play other styles of music. Keep jammin!
