Emilyis a recent graduate from the University of Oklahoma where she was a Graduate Teaching Assistant under the direction of Dr. Jane Magrath, Dr. Barbara Fast and Dr. Igor Lipinski. Her former teacher includes Dr. Bradley Bolen at Baylor University, where she earned her Bachelor of music degree in Piano Performance. At the University of Oklahoma, she was the instructor of group piano courses and applied private piano lessons to undergraduate piano minors. Her recent teaching experiences abroad include Kenya and Malaysia. She will spend her summer as the staff accompanist for Music in the March in Italy. Professionally, she has presented alongside colleagues on research of Piano Trios at the Music Teachers National Association yearly conference.
