About Me

Hi, my name is Carlos and I am a guitarist and bass guitarist from Allentown, PA! I have been a student of music for 10 years. My musical influences include rock bands like the Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age and I also enjoy alternative artists like Foals and Tame Impala! My teaching style can best be described as a demonstrator, where I show you how to play, and we work together to get you comfortable playing your instrument. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I believe that everyone has a unique style of learning, and I’m more than happy to do my best in order to accommodate different learning styles. In my lessons, you can expect to learn notes, chords, scales, and keys. I like to tell my students practice makes perfect, and it’s okay if it takes a while to understand a concept, you and I will understand it together, no matter how long it takes. My favorite thing about teaching is passing on my knowledge and giving my students the ability to understand and play around with music.
