Michael began playing drums at the age of two. Over the years, he developed his skills further by playing with others and practicing daily. He gained performance experience around the USA by playing at such venues like The Fillmore, The Apollo Theater, Club LA, The Masquerade, The Windjammer, etc with acts such as Killakoi, Beyond The Fade, and Glamnation. Though Michael can teach many genres of music, his musical personal favorites are rock, metal, and pop which had great influence on his style of playing. Michael loves music because of the way it makes people feel things that only music can make you feel and there is a song for every mood to help you get through anything. He loves teaching music because that feeling when you finally get what you’re trying to learn is a feeling that’s unmatched and he loves helping people learn something new or get better in a certain area of playing.
